1st Printing. Nice Firm Clean copy ! Light general wear. Has Celluloid cover on front and back, often none to exist at least as early as 1877. Cover on front is apparently painted, or perhaps printed with the Little Vagrant asleep on a doorstep in the snow. Cover painting appears to be an ink colored paint, with white and gold liquid gilding. Stapled text pages with page ends dyed yellow. Covers with rope tied to book. Undated. The Mystic Side Press was known to exist in the 1880's. Helen Pichard was married in 1881 to husband George F. Butterfield. Perhaps the only copy. 120 pages.
